Consular officer asked for joint sponsor and gave me back passport. Help!!

I had an interview today which went fine and the C.O told me to get a joint sponsor even though my spouse's income is above poverty guideline and also she has money in her savings account, what should i do please?

Can i i send them bank statements and fresh i-1864 affidavit of support and tax returns of my wife instead?

If your first I864 packet wasn't enough, are your current circumstances different enough to assume they'll approve you this time?
Generally, when the CO says to provide a joint sponsor, you should provide a joint sponsor unless you're 100% sure your own sponsorship will be adequate. How long ago did you submit the original I-864 to the NVC?

I submitted the original documents to NVC last year by august, that is seven months ago. Although i didn't include proof to assets and bank statements and only included tax transcript for 2018. So a lot has changed because i will be adding her new 1099 for 2019 and all her financial statements from bank stating how much she has, a new i-864. She has above 300,000 in her bank.
